Summary: Software, Hardware and Services sold by Adjacent Technologies, Inc. is covered with a warranty for a period of none, one or three years from the date of purchase. The duration of the warranty depends on the particular hardware, software and/or service purchased. The service response to all maintenance requests is made within one day of the request made Monday through Friday from the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST. Adjacent Technologies, Inc. has made the commitment to provide the highest level of quality to all of our customers and suppliers. Support Plan: All maintenance, repair, and support requests will be responded to immediately within the parameters of generally accepted Information Technology practices and standards. The following details our maintenance, repair and support plan:

Depending upon the support and warranty of the solution provided to the client agency, the following support procedure may be used completely or as stipulated in the agreements between Adjacent Technologies, Inc. and the client agency:
Support Procedures:
• Adjacent Technologies will keep the client agency's equipment serial number, model, description, manufacturer number (if applicable), and the agency assigned inventory number in the Adjacent Technologies, inc. local support database once a solution is delivered.
• Prior to the production of the equipment or software, Adjacent Technologies support team will perform a setup quality control step. The quality control step will be performed by calling the equipment (and / or) software manufacturer for trial problem, which will verify the information in the support system is accurate and work out any issues prior to going into production. Our approach will allow maximum efficiency for resolving issues when they arise with the manufacturer, which will allow the customer to focus on the 'real' issue and resolve any future problems that may arise in a quick manner.
• Describe the nature of the problem and provide us the end users' name, phone number, date, and time. A case number will be issued, and the issue will be resolved according to the support and maintenance terms established with the client agency.
Hardware Maintenance and Repair The primary avenue for maintenance and repair of our equipment is via the original manufacturers warranty. This is due to Adjacent Technologies being a reseller representative for many different manufacturers. For all equipment in need of maintenance or repair the following procedures will be used unless otherwise stipulated in the agreements between Adjacent Technologies, Inc. and the client agency:
Repair Procedure:
• Hardware both portable and desktop will be sent to the original manufacturers repair facility for repair. This includes associated computer peripherals including modems, monitors, keyboards, etc.
• Describe the problem, give us the product description and part number, and give us the serial number and the end users' name and phone number. If the equipment needs to be repaired off-site, we will contact the manufacturer an issue a return authorization number (RMA) and the address to ship the equipment to for repair. If the equipment is mission critical we will put the end user in touch with the repair/support team at the factory and together the end user and the factory will determine whether to repair on site or via shipping the equipment to a repair center.
• Mission critical equipment (especially communications equipment) like scanners, switches, file servers, routers, etc. will either be repaired on site or will be shipped back to the original manufacturer for repair. If the equipment needs to be shipped back for repair then loaner equipment of like performance and specifications will be made available until the States' equipment is repaired and returned. The decision to repair mission critical equipment on site or at the factory repair center (and loaner equipment provided) will be made jointly by the "end user" and the original manufacturer in consultation with
each other.
• All our Manufacturers have committed to Adjacent Technologies to maintain supplies of repair parts for equipment sold to the State of Texas for a minimum period of at least one (1) year after receipt of the original equipment by the State. NOTE: if applicable the receiving agency MUST fill out and return to the manufacturer all warranty registration material within 30 days of receipt of the equipment.
Statement of Guarantee
Adjacent Technologies will make available equivalent replacement parts for a product sold to the state for at least 3 years after a product is discontinued.
