Austin, TX: Adjacent Technologies, Inc., a full lifecycle enterprise content management solutions and integration services provider, was recently approved to provide cloud services and hosting through the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR). This DIR contract allows for easy purchasing of cloud services from Adjacent, and can be leveraged by all state and local government organizations in and outside of Texas.
“For over 4 years, Adjacent has been providing secure cloud services for our customers,” commented Adjacent CEO Dave Parks. “We are excited to partner with Texas DIR to expand the offering of cloud and hosted services with state government both here in Texas and nationally “
Adjacent partnered with DIR in order to provide a vehicle for cloud services to be delivered at the state level for the following reasons:
- Texas and many other state agencies are implementing strategic plans that identify cloud implementation as a priority.
- Adjacent has specific expertise in providing private, secure cloud that allows rapid scalability and improved administration through a pay-as-you-go model.
- Through DIR, cloud services can be set up immediately and customizable options are easily added, avoiding long cycles of procurement.
